The Volunteer Coordinator will oversee the volunteer management for the LLBK non-profit shopping event(s).

8 week summer job | $17/hr | 35 hr/week

Requirements:

• Be able to lift at least 25 pounds

• Clear and confident communicator

• Ability to delegate and lead a group of people

• Be comfortable with large crowds

• Efficient in data management and recording for calculating impact at the end of the event(s)

  Tasks include:

• Organizing, coordinating and managing the recruitment of volunteers , various committees, and association programs.

• Working with social, civic and local organizations to develop partnerships, where appropriate, to develop and/or utilize volunteers.

• Developing and implementing training programs for all volunteers.

• Maintaining updated records on all volunteers.

• Setting up and attending volunteer meetings.

• Reporting to staff on volunteer activities as needed.

• Recommending and developing ongoing volunteer utilization.

• Developing and implementing a volunteer recognition program.
